Purpose/reason for this Position:
The primary focus of the Internet Sales Director is to be responsible for the sale and maintenance of advertising business for station website www.WTKR.com position requires a very energetic and extroverted individual that can embrace change and deal with rapidly developing business environments. The Internet Sales Director must be comfortable both with working on their own and in team selling situations and absolutely must be a self-starter. A technical orientation is not necessary, but the individual must be both computer and Internet savvy, and demonstrate the ability to keep abreast of advances in the industry.

Core Job Functions:
• Responsible for creating multi-media promotions, contests, and sales campaigns that solve Client issues and problems.
• Actively seek and contract business for www.WTKR.com.
• Maintain record of client contacts and sales.
• Work closely with Web Content Producer or designated individuals to keep website information and architecture consistent with Client needs and expectations.
• Work with representatives from the Daily Press regarding co-promotions that include TV, on-line and Newspaper
• Report information as requested by Management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
Individual must have computer skills and knowledge of the Internet. New or non-traditional media sales experience would be a very valuable plus. Demonstrable record of developing new business. Good communication and presentation skills are mandatory. Proven record of responsibility, not necessarily management, but must be able to show ability to work on their own. Solutions-based selling background. Experience in creating promotions, contests and sales campaigns that solve client issues or problems. Should be thoroughly familiar with business-oriented software, i.e. Microsoft Office Suite. Must possess a valid State Driver's License (or be able to get one).

Education Requirements:
A college degree is preferred and/or at least three years sales experience, preferably 2+ years in media sales.

Physical Requirements:
Dexterity to operate needed equipment. Communications skills used in sales and office setting. Vision to review and approve media ads, presentation, website, etc. Ability to drive vehicle, as required.

INTERNAL CONTACTS: EXTERNAL CONTACTS:
All departments Station Callers to Station, advertising representatives, Program representatives, Station clients
